After receiving his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, George Sistevaris was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1987. He concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation and appeals of civil cases, including the representation of plaintiffs in injury claims and the representation of business clients.
Mr. Sistevaris has an active appeals practice and has presented oral argument before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also submitted briefing to the United States Supreme Court in opposition to certiorari.
Through years of trial experience and written examination, Mr. Sistevaris has achieved the status of Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate, a board certification conferred by the Nation Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), a non-profit agency accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA). Fewer than 50 attorneys in the state of Indiana have this certification.
He is admitted to practice before the Indiana State trial courts, the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University School of Business with a concentration in Accounting.
Mr. Sistevaris is a delegate to the Indiana State Bar Association for Allen County, and is a Master in the Benjamin Harrison chapter of the American Inns of Court.
